To improve the quality of Performances at our monthly gigs, or to maintain ongoing International Jazz Performers participation, we would welcome all degrees of Sponsorship from any Local or National Company that feels that Contemporary Jazz of this quality would assist in the promotion of their Corporate image in the Thame Area and beyond.  In return you invest in something pleasurable of your choice and enjoy Corporate Tax Relief for supporting the Performing Arts,  Sponsor the Band of your own choice and enjoy the much needed Publicity for your Business.  Or smile quietly and confidently in your anonymity.

It would be nice to have a Chilterns Hundreds Jazz Art Foundation to advance music education for the public of this Borough and surrounding areas. It could both administer and co-ordinate the provision of instruments, music tuition and youth music activities for young people and adults. In addition also support the development of music education in schools and provides a wide range of music making opportunities, including concert performances, workshops, projects and courses.

This webpage is here to encourage all generations to become involved in listening to, playing, discussing Jazz, and conveying its benefits for young people and schools. The website also includes local Events and Venues where you can expand your knowledge of Contemporary Jazz Music and its exponents.

There is superb musical talent locally and it desperately needs support at this level so consider returning something to your local Community that will give great personal satisfaction to many listeners for years to come.

Any Corporate Benefactors or Private Wealthy Sponsors out there looking for an alternative to the Cats Home?

LWS Youth Jazz Ensemble Sponsorship
If you would like to sponsor the LWS Youth Jazz Ensemble, either by making a donation (unused Musical Instrument, etc), buying equipment or assisting with the website or concert programmes, please click the Glockenspeil.  If you have any ideas for fund raising from Guest or Function appearances etc, please contact us. The ensemble cannot expect to be self-financing.
Parents and friends, by contributing time and effort, are able to defray certain costs. LWS appreciate the support of the County Council through their appointment of musical directors, services of their musical advisor and by providing other facilities.  A considerable amount of capital is required for the purchase of music and additional, specialised equipment.

Sponsorship Explained

Sponsorship is a commercial arrangement whereby a business offers support — whether by direct financial assistance or by services provided
— to a group,
organisation or activity in return for benefits, which usually include  the crediting of the Sponsor on publicity media. If you look at the seating at any music or sports event, you will see banners on which sponsors’ logos are emblazoned. A Sponsor will often be trying to up its image as a caring or innovative company, so you we will try to win their support with a studied approach. If you know someone who works for a company that can help put them in touch with this page..  Contacts are the keys that open the doors to everything in the music business.

'IN KIND' SUPPORT AND DONATIONS
Other types of funding include in kind support, where people offer their services to help, eg, a local solicitor who reads a contract for you, a Sound Engineer who helps with PA, a Lighting Engineer to assist with Stage presentation, Music Shop that offers free publicity and so on. Donations and or gifts can be made by anyone, from parents and friends to unknown benefactors, and may not be solely for a particular project. Jazz Recordings for raffle prizes are another way of boosting funds for even bigger and better events if you have such media to donate.
