Jazz Eddie - Tim has a nice melodic and authoritative approach to his jazz improvisations and is supported sympathetically by delicate piano runs from Gianni Boscarino, and superbly paced by this extremely talented rhythm section. He also plays very proficient guitar.

Gianni Boscarino - Piano
Influenced by
Brad Mehldau, Joshua Redman, Return to Forever, Hermeto Pascoal, early Pat Metheny, early Keith Jarrett, Herbie Hancock, Joyce, Wayne Shorter, Oam Trio, Bill Evans.

A new kid on the block, Gianni has a great sense of rhythm and timing and is also an accomplished composer with his own group. (The Gianni Quartet). Gianni is currently in his second year of the highly regarded Jazz degree course at Middlesex University.

This is a great opportunity to witness and marvel at Gianni's already prodigious yet youthful talent at close quarters, Fine inventive and percussive attack and worthy of comparison with his fellow jazz pianist Gwilym Simcock for invention - he is destined for a magnificent future in Jazz - Jazz Eddie
Gianni's own Quartet features
Gianni Boscarino: Piano, Chris Williams: Alto sax, Ben Bastin, bass, Vasilis Sarikis: Drums

Chris GoodsellChris Goodsell - Electric Bass

Unassuming he may be but Chris is the backbone to the quartet with his impeccable timing and inventive bass lines. Chris also plays classical double bass with a couple of North London orchestras. He is the ‘groove-merchant’.

Quiet confidence, strident and sympathetic bass lines - Jazz Eddie

Lester Bennett - Drums
There are many drummers but there is only one Lester Bennett.
Lester is a highly experienced player who as well as being a master of the jazz kit is percussionist with highly acclaimed early music group Mediva, appearing regularly on Radio 3, The English Music Festival circuit and the Purcell Room.”

LIVE JAZZ NEEDS YOUR HELP TO SURVIVE …………At any time of year things are difficult for Jazz, so even if you can’t make it yourself we really do appreciate it if you can encourage friends and colleagues to come along. If you would like to download a Poster to put out in your work place that would be a terrific help and of course you can always send people to this extensive web site.  Remember that we work only for the Jazz Musicians to give them a platform for their talents.  We are a not for profit organisation but as mere enthusiasts we cannot accumulate losses either.  Many Thanks keep networking - Jazz Eddie.

Musicians and Deputies
The line-ups as listed are correct at the time of Publication and are those given to us by the leader of the group, and information is as accurate as we can make it. With the Music business being what it is, inevitable changes happen, and we amend the listings except for those that happen on the night. We have been very fortunate, as the substitutions made by the groups have often been surprise upgrades. Nevertheless, the situation is not one we can control due to the fallibility of the ever sensitive musicians.  Blessed as they are - they are not invulnerable.
